Steve Gulliver

It is with the deepest sadness that we have to report that Steve Gulliver died this week.  He was a founder member of the club, a determined buggy driver and a former Scrutineer.  He was old school Trial and Safari - bits scavenged from the scrap yard or from the works skip.  He was possibly the one person who built a buggy that kept reliably finishing events!  He had a great sense of humour and would help anyone who was struggling.  He would, of course, point out their failings – whilst helping them.
In recent years he had struggled with illness and had put the off road toys to one side.  Although when he visited Tidworth last year – he was talking of working on an electric mobility scooter - so he could drive it off road.  That about summed Steve up - gutsy, determined and a really nice guy.  Our condolences go to his family.
There will be a more detailed tribute in the next addition of the Club magazine.
